So glad I came here! The staff and surgeons were super knowledgeable, gentle and explained everything clearly. Exceptional care from start to finish.

So irritated with this place but I have no choice but to go here. I’ve been waiting since the 15th for an approval from my insurance for some teeth to be pulled. I am a diabetic with multiple tooth infections, but only 1 is severe. I ended up in the ICU earlier this month due to the infection causing me to go into Diabetic ketoacidosis, so this isn’t just atypical tooth infection. I’ve been in so much pain and agony I’ve been calling the clinic every other day with no success. It takes 30 plus minutes to reach anyone on the phone. The wait time on the phone is ridiculous. I was constantly told that they will call me back and never got calls back. And also said they will call once my referral has been approved. Today I had an appointment with my pcm because of the pain and follow up from hospital. He called carelink and they said my referral had already been approved. So I called to schedule my appointment and was told that it wasn’t received so I would have to call carelink. So there I go calling them and apparently it’s been approved since April 21st! I am so livid! I’m here doing THEIR job for them. It’s the 28th and I’ve been calling ever other day! I don’t know what is going on

(EDIT): since my original review, the team over at UT Dental has worked to try to make this right, which I wholly appreciate. The staff and students were spoken too on the importance of aftercare and listening to patient concerns. Additionally, they even tried to compensate for some of the lost wages I had due to complications. I am beyond grateful to the team for listening and trying to make things right, I think that speaks volumes❀️ I’ve changed my review from 2 to 4 stars. Original review: I came in a few weeks ago to have my 4 wisdom teeth removed. All in all everything went well, I’m so so grateful for the surgical staff that worked hard to make my time there as quick and as comfortable as possible, they were truly amazing. But what has really colored my opinion was after. I had a terrible recovery, and we (my partner and I) followed every piece of information in the packet they gave us to the letter. I took every pill on time, was incredibly careful (no straws, splitting, ect.), and used the medicated mouthwash. By day 7, I was still in a lot of pain, I couldn’t chew a thing (yes, I was on liquids the entire week) and had a terrible taste in my mouth (which subsequently g

I was told to come here by my dentist who also got her wisdom teeth out here. Dr. Hope is awesome! I’m in my late thirties getting my wisdom teeth out. I hope I don’t need to have anymore oral surgery, but If I do, I’ll trust this place. Everyone I interacted with was very professional.

Dr Perez did wisdom tooth removal and jaw surgery for my teenage daughter. We really loved him and he was wonderful with communication. Even gave me his direct email and responded same day with answers to the questions I had. Surgery went as well as could be expected and we are extremely pleased with the results of her jaw. Would highly recommend and will definitely schedule my other daughter with him when she needs her wisdom teeth removed.
